PRINCIPLES and CORDEX4CDS General Assembly at GERICS

The General Assembly of PRINCIPLES and CORDEX4CDS took place on May 24th - 25th, 2018 at GERICS.

Franco Molteni from the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasting (ECMWF) and Erik Kjellström from the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) led the event on both days.

There were around 25 climate scientists and programmers from Europe. At the center of the meeting were discussions and lectures on the project progress as well as on the status and planning of regional climate model simulations for Europe.

The second day was dedicated mostly to the software needed to provide the users with information about regional climate models in the database "Earth System Documentation" as well as the data of the regional climate simulations in the "Climate Data Store".
