Daniela Jacob at the 4th NextGEMS km-scale hackathon of the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology

The Max Planck Institute for Meteorology (MPI-M) in Hamburg organized a hackathon on the topic of Earth system modelling at the beginning of March 2024 as part of the nextGEMS project. The 4th km-scale hackathon was co-organized by the three projects EERIE, WarmWorld and nextGEMS. Around 140 participants from all over Europe and Senegal were registered.

GERICS Director Prof. Dr. Daniela Jacob opened this hackathon with a keynote speech. A short video clip can be found under the following link.
